Stepps Pool

At the tail of the Stepps it is deep and turbulent, so when Gordon hooked this fish he new he had a battle on his hands! and he was right.

There wasn't any guest's fishing on Thursday so i had a cast myself , here,s the first of two fish i landed in the Glide.

Mr Alec Mclean knew he had a lively one on right away in the Dalmarnock Bank Pool,then when he landed it we knew why!

9lb Salmon

This was my second fish on Monday evening (9.30 and 10.00pm) this fish was in perfect order at 9lb,unfortunately the battery went and i couldn't photograph or video the return.

And no wonder the fight felt strange!!if there was a a prize for the ugliest salmon then this wee sea licer must be in with a shout.
