This was a real powerhouse of a fish.I thought at one point we were going to have to get back into the boat and follow it into the Glide Pool.
Jim's big fish released back to the Tay to carry on it's journey,very well done.

Here's a very good friend of mine Mr Kenny Sheridan playing his first ever Salmon in the Glide Pool on Dalmarnock,as you can see Kenny played the fish like a seasoned pro, congradulations on hooking,playing,and landing you'r first salmon Kenny and hope many more follow.
Prior to landing this 10lber Gerry lost a cracking 5lb fresh Grilse which was more out the water than in,he then pro ceded to land another 12lber very well done Gerry.
Here's a very good friend of mine Colin Gordon playing a beautiful 12lb sea licer in the Summerhouse Pool, Colin hooked the fish in the prolific Glide pool, when hooked the fish turned and made one very powerful 60yd run downstream and over the barrage,well done Colin for holding on!!

Here's Mr John Adamson playing a very lively 12lb sea licer in the Glide pool on Dalmarnock,John lost another two fish prior to landing this topper.
At the tail of the Stepps it is deep and turbulent, so when Gordon hooked this fish he new he had a battle on his hands! and he was right.
Just as i hit the play button the fish gave a powerful kick and it was off ,well done Gordon.

Mr Alec Mclean knew he had a lively one on right away in the Dalmarnock Bank Pool,then when he landed it we knew why!
This was my second fish on Monday evening (9.30 and 10.00pm) this fish was in perfect order at 9lb,unfortunately the battery went and i couldn't photograph or video the return.
This was the first fish i hooked on Monday in the Glide Pool,almost immediately i knew something was wrong.
Mr Mats Johnson from Sweden kicked off his fly fishing career with this topper , Mats had less than an hour lesson with Jock Montieth on the art of Speycasting and then proceeded to hook,playand land this beauty,what a start Mats very well done.this was Dalmarnocks second 25lber this season.

This is how the Inch Stream Pool was looking on Friday afternoon,one of the rods ( Mr Stevie O'Neil ) had a good pull below the cables on the Fly! no wonder what a beautiful Pool.
Here' s Mr Marc Newton playing his first Tay Springer on the fly,at the Dalmarnock Bank Pool,the fish was a beautiful 14lb long tailed sea licer,and Marc played it like a seasoned pro,very well done Marc.
This one returned none the worse with it's encounter with Marc.
